Thanks for your concern with Charlie’s hearing, but I’m sure things are going to be okay. We went to the doctor today but they were running so far behind that I had to reschedule for early next week. So I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what he says then. But I hope that everyone has a SUPER WONDERFUL & HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I have to say – I’m looking forward to spending the day with family and eating some delicious food. Hope you all have a great day too!
So today I’m thankful for Doctors. I had to take Charlie to get his hearing tested because he had fluid in his ears at his ‘2 year’ check up. Anyway, there’s something going on there and we need to get follow up done tomorrow with our Pediatrician. It might be that the hearing issues are delaying his speech, or it might not and he’s just delayed in his speech.
Either way, we’re looking into it, and I’m thankful that modern medicine makes it as simple as me taking him into the doctors office … and they can tell me where his hearing is ranking, and what their concerns are. So today, I’m really am thankful for that.

Today I’m so thankful for my friend Katie. She’s probably one of the coolest girls I know and when I asked her if I could take photos of her kiddos (and her family) she was so gracious to say ‘yes’ and let me use them as test subjects. So today we met up at the same location I went to yesterday and we got down to business. Here’s a few samples of what we got today.
Love the photos! Really! i wish we lived close enough to be test subjects! I’d love to have some of your talent. these are great! Today I’m so thankful for PATIENT people! A friend of a friend let me practice my photography skills by allowing me to take their photos. They were SO nice and they made it SUPER easy for me since they were absolutely adorable all around. I definitely see the areas that still need work, but it’s fun to see the areas where I’m slowly improving. Here’s a few that I was able to get!

So … this isn’t really a ‘thankful post’ as much as it is a small public service announcement. It was just brought to my attention that some people have emailed me at my ‘ajumma’ email address … and honestly … I had no idea how to check that email address. I thought I was checking it, but it turns out I was wrong. I wasn’t at all and I had some emails waiting for me from quite a while ago. So I have now responded to everyone who wrote and I FOR SURE know how to check that email address now … in fact, I have it set up to now forward to my other address … so it’s all good!
I guess this calls for a big shout out to Kelli who brought it to my attention! I’m so THANKFUL for you doing that!
